Running prep

Running is one of the most popular forms of sport that almost every individual experiences on a daily basis in one way or another. Its accessibility and the beneficial effects it has on maintaining a healthy body and mind are just two of the reasons why running is so popular, even though the initial phase of starting to run on a regular basis can be hard and painful. Choosing the right surface to run on, the appropriate distance and the speed at which to run, all while maintaining the proper running technique, is important for both beginners and experienced runners if they want to experience an effective, comfortable and healthy type of running. The workshop is of a practical and educational nature and will thus include strength exercises, mobility drills, and proper running technique lessons, all supported by different evaluation techniques. The key is to not only learn how to run better but also more safely. The most motivated will have the chance to attend the Nočna 10k run in Bled or the marathon held in Bovec for free.

The workshop is free of charge for all students of UP but the number of participants is limited to 15. In order to attend, you will need to sign up in advance on our page. All activities are attended at your own risk
