Swimming is one of the few sports activities that relieves our body of the stresses our joints feel due to the force of gravity. Unlike most sports, swimming simultaneously strains the muscles of the shoulder and leg muscles, and has a beneficial effect on cardiovascular health and inter-muscular coordination, which is very important for effective swimming.
You will be able to swim four times a week at the Olympic swimming pool in Koper. Entrance is allowed in suitable swimming clothes. The activity is carried out at the participants’ own risk.
